Round 1 of Club Officer Training – open to all District 106 Club Officers. Hosted on Zoom!
About this Event
Remember when attending club officer training meant not only finding room on your calendar, but also finding your way to the venue on time by car, bus, or bike? Commute no more! Round 1 of club officer training in District 106 for 2020-2021 will be held via Zoom. There will be 12 training sessions held during the June-August training period and club officers can attend any session they choose!Who remembers the district mission? (You will be quizzed at club officer training!)

We build new clubs and support all clubs in achieving excellence.

Our goal with club officer training is all about supporting clubs in achieving excellence.

Each officer will leave training with 3 things:

1) an understanding, of the purpose of their role and how it serves the club

What are the benefits that the club and its members receive?
2) specific actions the club officers can take to help their club achieve its goals

This will be connected to the Distinguished Club Program and any other goals a club has established
3) resources that are available to assist the club officers

The key resource is the other club officers in the training – many of the individual training sections will be interactive group sessions, conducted in breakout rooms. One of the goals of these sessions is for club officers to make connections with each other, allowing them to create a network of people dealing with similar issues.
