Where Is TAG?

The Traveling Award Gavel was created by Dave and Joseph Kummer, husband and son of veteran Toastmaster, Marvel Kummer. The bag for the gavel was created by Carin Hemmesch, D106 Administration Manager 2019-2020. The gavel was presented to the District at the Summer Toastmasters Leadership Institute on Saturday, July 27, 2019.

TAG Captured 10/01/2019

Leadership Summit wanted to try a new way to invite other Toastmasters to our club and allow both clubs to speak and evaluate each other to gain a new perspective and new feedback, as well as provide networking opportunities for all (and have FUN!). For our first crack at a joint meeting, we chose Crosstown Talkers to be our partner.  It was at this joint meeting where we captured the TAG.  The meeting was extremely enjoyable and insightful, and capturing the TAG added another element of excitement and celebration for all of us.

The CrossTown Talkers meet Tuesdays at 12:05 at the Cargill facility in Hopkins.  9320 Excelsior Crossings.  It is recommended to email them prior to the arrival since this is a corporate club.  Contact information in the CrossTown Talkers link.
