Contest registration opens at 6:00 pm.
Contest starts at 6:30 pm.
Park in the rear of the complex. To find the ‘Party Room’, follow signs near the gap in the buildings on the south side, near the east end of the buildings. The building is secured without a phone in the party room, so please be patient if you arrive after the contest starts.

Intro to Public Speaking

Do you get nervous when doing presentations? Do you feel you can polish your skills, or do you feel you fumble on your feet?
Join us in learning how to communicate better through speeches and presentations.

This is a 6-week course (1 hour a week) that will teach participants how to use your strong speaking skills convey a memorable message to your audience. The event is EVERY WEDNESDAY from 2/19/2020 – 3/25/2020.

•Week 1: Selecting a speech topic, and how to organize a speech
•Week 2: Introducing a speaker, and Speech Purposes
•Week 3: Body Language
•Week 4: Vocal Variety
•Week 5: Word Use
•Week 6: Graduation Celebration!

Our Toastmasters club is a learning environment, where all members are part of the learning process, and are at many different levels of speaking.

We are presenting this six-week session for only $20 (plus any applicable fees from EventBrite).

Location: 11100 Wayzata Blvd, Minnetonka, MN 55305 (NE Corner of 394/Hopkins Crossroads)
When entering the building you may walk towards the back, take right after the elevator bank, and follow down to the last room on the left.
