Create Your Own District 106 Club Visitor Packet
One of the strongest marketing pieces we have as Toastmasters for converting visitors to members, besides word-of-mouth, is the club visitor packet. An effective visitor packet contains information about the Toastmasters program, the benefits of membership, information about the culture of the specific club, and a “call to action”- an opportunity to join, without overwhelming them. The goal of a visitor packet, as with any “take-away” marketing piece, is to give enough information to spark interest related to the visitor’s goals.
The goal of the District Leadership is to create a simple, effective, visitor packet to become the standard, consistent, and duplicatable format for a club visitor packet. After months of research and discussions with club officers, long time members, and visitors, we have created one. The downloadable files linked below are the components that the we have found to create an effective and simple visitor packet, designed for our District to be consistent with any club a guest might visit.
Packaging: Toastmasters International (TI) has folders available that are professional and cost effective at less than $1 each when ordered in bulk ($20 for 25 folders.) We strongly recommend using these to ensure Toastmasters branding is consistent throughout district 106.
